For opening night of the lives, Christina wanted to go full glamour…She wanted to be sexy, sleek and modern. We found that, but also something that was really comfortable! She wore a Michael Costello Jumpsuit, with vintage corset belt, amazing t-strap platform Christian Louboutins. We accessorized with a faux fur shrug and amazing jewelry.
Earrings by Pamela Love and stunning ring by Loree Rodkin.

I hope you loved tonights look! xo Simone

Tonight we went with a ‘High fashion fishtail braid’. Combining a sleek and high pony into a fishtail braid gives an edge and touch of femininity to this modern style.

I started with wet hair and used blow dry lotion from the roots all the way to the ends to protect the hair form the heat and to give a super smooth blow out. Next I used a large round bristle hair brush dry large sections. Once all the hair is dry I took a dab of nourishing oil and used my hands apply it to the whole head to create an ultra smooth finish. Next I took a large paddle brush and brushed all the hair upwards to the top of the crown, slightly off center to the left side as the hair needed to be in front and falling just behind the left ear. I brushed the pony tail in a very small sections and wrapped it around an elastic band. This is easiest if you pin in place as you go around. Then I took the pony tail and started working on the fish tail braid – first dividing the pony in two sections, begin from the top of the pony, start by taking a small section and bringing it to then center of the split, then overlapping the other section continuing on from one to the other all the way down, using small clear elastic bands to tighten the ends. I finished the look by cleaning all the fly aways and smoothing all the hair around the the sides and back using flex hold hair spray.

For tonight’s look, it was all about the face, hair was up so we really wanted to make Xtina’s look pop!

For the eyes I wanted to give it a spark of a metallic shade and we chose a shimmering gold. And for beautiful full lashes we used two pairs wispy lashes and coated them with voluminous mascara in charcoal black. The whole look was complimented with a beautiful peachy blush. And for that pop of color on Xtina’s lips I used a glamourous red lip pencil and lipstick.

It was a beautiful clean look!
