Half up sleek and chic vintage black pinned finger waves.
I started with wet hair and used blow dry lotion all over to protect the hair from the heat. Using a large round bristle brush, I blow dried all the hair in large sections. It is a very soft blow out, straight at the roots, but keeping the roundness at the bottom. Once all the hair is dry, I used a comb to section a deep side part, using a 1 inch curling iron I created waves over the whole head, the waves should start at 3/4 of the way up. Next, I gently brushed all the hair backwards to smooth the waves, using a dab of nourishing oil to smooth the hair. Then, using a medium tooth size comb and only my hands I began at the top of the head to define the waves around the larger part of the section, using my fingers to hold and pin in place the black bobby pins as I worked my way down, keeping the pins close to the face. On the opposite side, I pulled the hair behind the ear while adding pins as I worked my way across the back of the head.
I stopped pinning just below both ears, this kept the length flowing down. I finished the look with flex hold hair spray to smooth all the fly aways, then brought all the hair forward to the front and let it flow.

For tonight look we went a little retro!
I wanted to keep Xtina’s makeup clean and sexy while plying it up with the retro vibe. For the eyes I wanted to keep it bronze and nude making the lashes really stand out. Gorgeous clean skin and Xtina’s signature juicy red lip! Overall the hair/’makeup/wardrobe complemented each other and she looked incredible!
