what do you think of Bionic
me personally i love christina and her work, but bionic was not all i expected from her. now dont get me wrong the album was great, but i felt it could have been better if she would have stuck to the christina we all know and love. ao wut do yo think.

this thread is not going to turn into a debate. Stay on topic.
i hope people will see christina more after burlesque! and burlesque will save the bionic era!
i like all her albums, it's hard for me to choose, i just think they are of different styles and a different kind of artistry.
Personally, I LOVE BIONIC! I think it's her best album yet, there are hardly any album fillers, I find myself probably skipping like one or two songs on the album. I'ts a really good pop record. My favourite album from Christina.
For my part i love her new album, and i'lol follow christina whatever what kind of music she wants to do.
I love this album, but can't make any review yet as it's too new to me. Each time I find something what I didn't realize before and like it.
But I agree with @phantom11 it would be great without the simple version, just delux WITH Little dreamer and that's it.
For me bionic is the best Cd of Aguilera! has a combination of sounds amazing and all the songs are spectacular! i hope that the company and Xtina choose the right singles! because Bionic has many material! Bionic Art!
I do have 1 minor, very minor gripe. More like a pet-peeve and that is:
The Deluxe Edition is a Deluxe Edition in name only.
They could've released a regular edition only with the 5 extra songs I don't think it would've made much of a difference except it would be just Bionic.
If anything the fan edition is a deluxe edition.
But as I said, that's just a minor thing.
I love the album. Is it a little late?, yes. But only because as a fan, I always want more material from Xtina. As for the Xtina we all know, if you have followed Xtina and her work you should know by now that she is always experimenting with new styles and doing new things. We all know that she can sing and do great ballads. But we also want other type of music from her. That's being the artist that she is. Not everyone likes all the paintings from Picasso or Monet. However they are still great pieces of arts. Xtina is an artists and I love that fact that she will try different things and not get stock with just ballads for the sake of just selling albums or repeating what she has already done. That would be boring for her and her fans.
LOL So true, phantom
I think it's an awesome cd(but then again, I'm not gonna stand here and say this is an unbiased opinion). I would put it above her first cd and Back to Basics(which I really didn't get into) slightly behind Stripped.
Yeah, that's the funny thing about the net dee.
Everyone's an expert on everything.
no matter what she does, there will be someone saying it ain't her she needs to go in another direction etc etc
last thing on mind is her next record.
i agree, it doesnt feel likes she comfortable with this record,it doesnt really have her signature...its good but it could have been great if she put herself out there and did more tracks like elastic love and birds of prey.. i hope she does another record soon..maybe going back to stripped roots, making "real" music..no computers or auto tune, a rough and raw genre-less album that will set her apart from all the muck that is pop today...just my thoughts!
I love this album... because I listen to it nonstop, haven't gone a day without listening to the album yet.
I love the first four songs off the album... so perfect. Bionic (call me a supernova that's taking over time and space, i'm testing your dimension can't keep up with what I make)
Elastic Love (paper clips they couldn't even hold us together, when your love hits it sticks me like a stapler)
I thought the lyrics were futuristic... and that was what I expected Smile
Lyrics which I thought were witty/humourous:
Woohoo (all the boys think it's cake when they taste my, you don't even need a plate just your face)
Vanity (everytime I look at me, I turn myself on
I make myself so much wetter)
And there are songs with deep lyrics too e.g. Birds of Prey, I like the part where she sings "they watch and they feed, they take what they need, they bind as you plead..."
Little Dreamer: "even though we sleep light years apart, a galaxy away is not so far"
I love "I Am" the most out of the ballads; because it has so many narrating tone to it... for example the verse she sings carelessly while in the chorus she sings with a pleading tone...
And the lyrics contradict one another: "I am timid, I am a lioness".
And lastly the song "Stronger than ever" - the part where it says "I feel like running, but I can't abandon you..."
I know this song is about breakup... but that part just makes me feel so emotional...
because I'm trying to run away from doing something I don't want to... yet I can't abandon it... because I want to prove myself that I can do it...
so I love this album a lot... I think she did delivered what she promised.
It was fun, sweet and futuristic. And it showcased so much of her vocal versatility too.
i like it (:
elastic love, glam and i hate boys... not so much.
if by 'the christina we all know & love' you mean belting it out then i agree, but oh well. i love all the ballads & my favourite upbeat songs are desnudate and vanity.
also, i think the whole bionic thing was a bit late, because now a lot of people are doing this whole 'futuristic' thing, if thats what you want to call it, i call it now but whatever... i don't think she really cares about making music for anyone else, or for money 'cos if you listen to its just a reflection of her own life, & she makes music for herself. i don't know if i make sense, but yeah...
I really like the album. Some parts work better than others, but there are enough good tracks on the Deluxe Version to leave me satisfied.
Songs I like:
"Bionic"
"Not Myself Tonight" - Though it could have been a little longer with a stronger ending.
"Morning Desert"/"Sex for Breakfast" - I like when Christina sings RnB
"Lift Me Up"/"You Lost Me" - Introduced to them by great live performances that I personally prefer to the studio versions, but I love them both nonetheless.
"All I Need" - Sweet song she dedicated to Max.
"I Am" - My favorite track since I heard it on I <3 Radio. It needs to be a single.
"Vanity" - Over the top and I love it.
"Monday Morning" - Great retro-summertime feel to it.
"Birds of Prey" - Love the mood of the song and I think a great video could be made for this. One of my favorites.
"Stronger Than Ever"
"Little Dreamer"
I'm not sure what to make of "Elastic Love." It might need to grow on me.
I might enjoy "Prima Donna" with a good remix.
"I Hate Boys" is okay, but the chorus reminds me a little of "Keeps Getting Better."
I don't know what is meant by the Christina we all know and love, but I think it's her best work to date.
Bionic is amazing. I love the new sounds, I love the energy, I love all the songs... Mmh "Sex For Breakfast" is a little boring, but it's the only one I don't feel...
