Bionic Tour/Burlesque Tour or some kinda tour
So I dont really know how long its been since Bionic came out but the day it came out I walked 6 miles to a Best Buy to get it because Im a huge Christina Aguilera fan and no matter what she does I like it (most of the time). So since then I saved up my momey to buy tickets to see her live in concert (for the record this would have been my first concert ever) I had it in my mind that I was gonna get a seat so close to her that when she sings if she spits I can feel it and Im assuimg just for the ticket its like 400 dollars I dont really know but I was willing to pay that much and more.
Anyway I got my bank statement in the mail and I realize that my "Bionic Tour money" is still sitting there. This makes me really mad because I wanna see a Bionic Tour and it if there isnt gonna be one I wish they would change the sign from keep checking to sorry no tour. Like Im really pissed the hell off I wanna know if there is going to be a tour or not I dont wanna know about the voice or whatever the show is called (I will be watching it though) but will there be a tour.
Somebody please answer me.
PS I love Christina Aguilera I think shes really cool and if she reads this hi
I'd die to see a Burlesque segment happening in the future... I really miss seeing her live, the last time was in 2006

she is not going to tour this year. it would not be profitable or positive for her career right now unless it was a promotional tour for new music. but shes clearly focused in on her new album and starting fresh with all new material. Its already into the month of june. if a summer tour was happening tickets would have been on sale already. No i think she has made it very clear that she is focused on the voice and recording an all new album. which is honestly whats best for her career right now. we can probably expect a tour in 2012 or 2013.
I would enjoy a mixed tour too..and I would do anything to go! I haven't had a chance to see Christina in concert yet so any tour would be great (but I hope it's near KY!). Hopefully she announces a tour schedule sometime soon..I can't wait!!
At this point its very safe to say there is not going to be a Bionic world tour this year. Christina herself has expressed that the Bionic era is over and shes very much moving onto the next chapter in her life. Of course fans want to see her live and its very disappointing but you have to understand that her company has to be able to make money off a tour. Tour is one of the biggest means of income and profit to Christina & her company. If its going to cost them more money to tour than she would actually make back they wont do it. After the flop of Bionic and the year she had least year they have no reason to project good sales off a Bionic world tour. Its actually much wiser for her and her label to start from scratch, create a whole new album, era and promote it properly and THEN announce a world tour. keep that money saved though, it will come in handy when the next tour starts.
I agree with @Evaleria, make sure your next tour is 13 years and older Christina.
I would love a tour mixed..back to basics,stripped and bionic!!
or something..I would do anythin to go to that concert..nd let it be 13 and over..im 13..

Don't be pissed off. She gave you a lot of music, and a movie, last year. You should be thankful.
I hope they release the dates.
Shoooot, if my bank statement came back with more money than I planned in it, I would not be mad, I would be either planning a party, or eating steak for a month. lol
But just as it's already been explained, those words, 'keep checking', will always be as long as Christina is. And I would like to add that although Christina didn't say the words, 'NO TOUR', she pretty much shut the door on a Bionic Tour when she said that for her the Bionic era is over.
Of course, those words were enough to break many hearts, especially considering how great the songs are, but there you go. I can't say, don't be mad, because I feel your disappointment, but I will say that there's a brighter side to this for you and eventually you'll see it.
The keep checking message doesn't mean there will be something to check soon. It is only typical, it is alway there, it will always be, even after the tour is over, if it ever happens.
I think that at this point it is pretty much common sense there will not be a tour for Bionic. At least not before summer. If you really saved this much money, then probably you will have enough left for merchandise as well. Don't forget to purchase the TourBook!
