Tribute to Etta James
As Etta's big fan, Christina have to pay tribute for her on Grammys 2012. Who's agree with me?

I thought Etta was kidding about that whole Beyonce diss. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about Etta being kidding about that. Anyways Christina would make the legend proud by paying tribute to her especially since she's a huge Etta James fan and would always mention her as one of her major influences.
Exactly, BlueRose, Christina, from day 1, talked about this woman with so much love, she was the one that kept Etta's name in people's head, including Beyonce's, who tends to steal other people's thoughts and ideas. pffft
I'm sure Christina would do a tribute regardless who else was on stage, but as a true fan and not for show as it would be for Beyonce. Tragic.
Etta did lash out at Beyonce for singing "At Last" at the Neighborhood Inauguration Ball for President Obama. But she then retracted and said her comments were meant to be humorous, but she did feel left out and slighted by the President that he would have Beyonce singing her song instead of her.
I actually like some of Beyonce's songs and I've never had an issue with her, but I think it would make more sense for Christina to do the tribute alone. She would do her more justice than anyone. Christina has been paying tribute to Etta throughout her entire career. Beyonce never mentioned being an Etta fan until she played her in that movie.
I have to agree with Dee. No disrepesct to Beyonce and if there was a further incident of Etta taking back her comment please tell me, but Etta wasn't exactly fond of Beyonce was she? Whereas she had nothing but praise for Christina.

Agree! She should do a duet with Beyoncé (who is a big Etta James fan too).
