Burlesque DVD Release
Do any of you think there should be a single released in light of the DVD Release date?
If I was managing this project I would have usef ANY of the musical performances from the movie to build interest and release a single!
"Show Me How You Burlesque" is a great song to use!!!

I think if there ever was going to be an official single release it would have been in promotion of the movie in theaters not now that its going to dvd.
It released today in Holland! I have the DVD!
Burlesque Blu-Ray sales debut at #3.
We here in australia would like the option to buy the dvd..... it's not released here yet .... jealous of the rest of the world again.... will it be 2 months wait like we waited to see it in the cinema? ..... *sigh*

whether it's in time for a dvd release or whatever, the single releae is still for the promotion of the burlesque soundtrack and the film in general. im not quite sure if express is an official or just a prom single. because unlike beyonce's listen from dreamgirls, burlesque has no music video circulating on mtv to support the song... maybe express didnt create much noise in the bubbling under...
I've never heard of anyone releasing a single for a dvd. But there's always a first for everything.

Maybe they should release a song as a single? My vote is for Express.
Unfortunately Express was never sent to radio... That song or SMHYB would have been fire as a music video on MTV, VH1, Itunes, and Youtube! Those two songs were well choreographed and prove that Xtina worked twice as hard on her time between albums!
I don't think there should be a single released, but I do think there should be promotion.
