I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... When I was in high school and had already spent most of my life being picked on for being different, weird and never really fitting in, the album Stripped truly helped me to come into my own. Songs like "Beautiful", "Keep on singing my Song" and "The Voice Within" really inspired me to just love myself and be weird. I started to realize that being weird was what set me apart from the herd. As I gained confidence over the years, thanks to Christina's music, I now can honestly look around me and say I am "cool."

I am cool because I am my weird self and people love me for who I am. I just needed the confidence to do it. I look around me at all the many friends I have, so many backgrounds and lifestyles, who all like me and respect me. I have found that it doesn't matter if I am the only person out on the dance floor. If I just have fun and be myself, people see that confidence and don't question it. Not only do I love Christina for her more self empowering songs but I also love her for her versatility. She has opened me to music that I may have never tried before, and now found I love alot. Her style and fashion, music and attitude remind me everyday that I don't have to be like everyone else to be cool. Christina taught me to love myself and that all I ever need to answer to is myself and God.
