The Spanish Album Coming?
Ok, so I know CA has promised us for ages a new Spanish album. What's Happened?! An interview from this year she said there will be a spanish album, but she needs to get it right. She was talking about a spanish album back in the B2B era... and the years go by... Has Anyone heard anything else?

yes so christina and soo stripped era! I like the translated songs, however would be best with a new record with only spanish songs that always were just spanish:)
Yes, Xtine, you're right, it's just that I hate translated songs, so I was not even considering it! But it was great when I had listened to it. Get Mine, Get Yours is a favorite of mine anyway. It is so Xtina-ish.

And yes, the casa song is a triumph. kinda mexican 70style to it.
Chris: I agree. And i think its great when she mixes the languages like in desnudate for example. Btw: dont forget "Dame Lo Que Yo Te Doy" - spanish version of get mine,get yours. one of my alltime fav. also the spanish lyrics in "Silent Night" , and she also did a spanish version of So emotional, called tan emocional - which isnt included on the mi reflejo record.
If an official soundtrack for the "Casa de mi padre" movie is ever released, I'll buy it. But only if it includes Christina's "Casa" song.
We are going to have a new Spanish album one day. Christina Aguilera keeps saying she wants to do it. She will inevitably do it.
I know freaking Cristiano Ronaldo is waiting for that second Spanish album from Christina Aguilera, somewhere LOL!! I remember seeing footage.. Cristiano was playing the "Mi Reflejo" CD in his car during an interview. He was even singing along to one of the songs. I thought it was funny and random.
Christina's first Spanish album was vocally beautiful, sublime. Outstanding. Flawless.
Christina can sing anything. I'd buy a Japanese or Russian or Arabic or German or ANYTHING album from Christina VOICELERA.
It will be fun! Both Infatuation and Desnudate are highlights, so are the original spanish songs on Mi Reflejo...
Christina said before B2B that she was going to work on an all latin cd that will have original music not remakes of other songs she has done like Mi Reflejo did. As to rather that has now changed, who can tell. I would say if Christina is still planning it then that is awesome.

On criticisms of not being Latina enough: “I’ve dealt with that my whole life. I don’t speak the language fluently. And I’m split right down the middle, half Irish and half Ecuadorean. I should not have to prove my ethnicity to anyone. I know who I am.”
On planning another Spanish-language album: “All I know is no one can tell me I’m not a proud Latina woman…I dove headfirst into a Spanish-language album for that reason and I’m planning another one even though I don’t speak the language. I’m sure that doesn’t sit well with some people.”
I didnt mean a translated B2B, just that after the B2B era was gonna be all about a spanish project. I must make clear im not "mad" at our girl hehe, im just impatient coz a new spanish album made by a more grown up Christina would be absolutely fantastic. And she did promise us afterall! hehe x
But Christina said, she doesn't want to just translate her older songs to spanish, but to write to songs from the beginning.
Well, i did expect it after B2B.. now we've got keeps gettin better, bionic, burlesque and a upcoming album( im not complaining i love her works i wouldnt miss them for the world!) but still, wheres the spanish album hehe... Btw i dont really care that much if the songs become such big hits i care more about the art in itself
and she needs major billboard hits first.(read:her OWN songs) coz she has got nothing to translate as spanish version that people will look forward to.
expect that after her 5th album.
