The Bionic Summertime Tour - CANCELLED/POSTPONED until 2011
Christina Aguilera North American summer tour has been cancelled/postponed to give the singer more time to rehearse for the performances.
Christina had been due to kick off her trek in July, but now promoters have pushed the dates all the way back until 2011.
Christina feels she needs more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour launch, this wasn’t possible.
Ticket refunds for the Bionic Tour are available from the point of purchase.

Dear fans,
I made the decision to move my summer tour and I am truly sorry to those of you who had purchased tickets and have been disappointed by the news. Immediately after wrapping production on Burlesque, I went directly back into the studio and then quickly started the promotional process for Bionic. With both the album press and film press I am booked the entire summer and need time to focus on the work at hand. After reviewing the schedule with my team, I realized there was not enough time to put together and rehearse for a proper show, one that is at the caliber you expect from me or at the level I would present to my fans. In addition, my album has not even been released as yet and I would like for you all to become familiar with the music before you hear it live on tour. Again, I am sorry to have to move the dates but I promise to come see you when the time is right!
I look forward to seeing you all on the road soon enough to get BIONIC…

Christina Aguilera will be singing on 8th octomber in Cardiff in the memory of Michael Jackson. This is a great thing but I for one think it would be even better if a statue of his was there at the concert. If anyone is to be interested I know a very talented artist that made a statue of Michael Jackson, a very good one, I have pictures of it. i wish christina would do small venues like she did on story tellers on vh1 like here in houston she should do arenta theater or house of blues or warehouse live its sure they are small but i would want a very personal thing where she would talk with us and what not well what not i mean we can enjoy her powerful voice
I'm really not too upset about this...I guess because she seems to have a standard for her tours (perfection!) And no matter what, they always turn out to be spectacular! I don't want her to rush...it will be wonderful when it happens!! Seems like she's had a lot going on: the album just released, along with Burlesque, and everything else...I don't know about anyone else, but I want her to be on top of her game when she starts touring so it can be the best it can be!!

I just watched your Back to Basics DVD and I am about to watch your stripped DVD and I need to tell you that it was AMAZING!!! I knew that your music was great on your CDs but I was shocked to hear that your live performance was better!!! I am letting you know as a fan that I NEED TO SEE YOU LIVE FOR MYSELF!!! Who cares what people say about you I will go anywhere to see you!! I loved your Bionic CD and your Burlesque movie and to me that would be an awesome show with your other music!!! i was so disappointed when she cancelled her tour, the movie made up for it though. and the sad part for all of us is that there hasn't even been a hint for a tour. my gut tells me it's not going to happen.
I don't think this is going to happen at all. Otherwise, her team would have been giving the hints already to get her fans excited. Seems that she is more focus on working on her new relationship than anything else. Which btw it's her personal live but I don't think many of us (her fans) care much for this new guy. All we hear is Xtina and new boyfriend everywhere and nothing about new music or touring. Maybe after all this new relationship publicity, she will come around with something new musically speaking.
a bionic/burlesque themed tour would be my dream come true. even if its just a small tour i will go anywhere in the world to see it

first off, she canceled her tour to try to do whats best for Max, her baby boy , wether it means staying with jordan, or leaving him for Max's best intrest thats all that matters, was I devistated when she canceled her bionic tour of course I balled to my bf, then thimkimg maybe shes pregnant , but I feel more for her now then ever she was there for me, she canceled her tour to try to keep her family together that is more then enough for me to wait for her kick ass tour bionic, plus hoping for burlesque tracks as well, more then my hopes for my family, she gave me my strength to go on and now whats she's going thru, im here for Max, n her cause thats what she was for me, love u christina thanks for every bit of hope(my middle name) u ever gave me because it saved me n everything I lived for my dad spent year in iraq , mothers a mean drunk, im her prob fault, every problem she is its my fault, so thru the years you kept me going and I hope u actually get to read this , I havent bought ever album cause I cant afford it but ive stayed true to you and never will not be, thank you x-tina for everything that I am today.!!!

Good 4 her......I hope she would make a great tour, with amazing shows 4 2011....... Coz she needs to take a break again.... It's not easy coming back & "Rock it" after 4 years "Time Out" even tho she's making a movie.... & what she makes now......

This is answered in Forum Feedback thread, off topic section. The cancellation of the tour does not effect the digital media offer.
Even though it is cancelled do we still get the free digital copy that was suppose to come with the ticket we purchased?

now i see why she canceled, i always knew it, she is soo perfect in everything, she wants the show to be perfect and that is how it's gonna be, the MTV movie awards performance was amazing!!! can't wait to see her live on concert in 2011
Agreed... and more time to get into the album and save up my money so I can get greedy on the merchandise stall, hehe.
That's a smart decision to postpone the tour till 2011. Let the album promote the tour, not the tour promoting the album. Personally, I'm kinda pleased with the delay, so I can save up for better seats.
getting the digital copy is still scheduled. tour has nothing to do with the albums digital release.
I was surprised on how soon the tour was going to be, thought about it and it wouldn't take me more than a day to memorize the lyrics to her songs, but its true, i rather wait for a great performance than to settle for just a good one....xtina knows what she's doing and these things happen all the time....
I assume this means we're not getting a free digital copy of the album on June 7th either? I mean I already bought the fan edition, but the free digital copy a day early was gonna be sweet!
I wish people would pay attention to what Christina and LiveNation reps are saying. I know somethings are "industry code" for other things, but the reasons given for postponing the Bionic Tour are true. If she went on with the tour and it ended up being crappy and thrown together they would've jumped all over her. Christina knows what the heck she's doing.

I had a Diamond package, but because of a website glich that ILAA admitted to, I took more than 10 minutes to order them & I lost them.
I tried for Phoenix and San Diego. Let me tell you Wednesday was the saddest day of my life. But I am so excited for everyone that did get to buy one! Congrats!

July 18 – Bristow, VA. YES! I almost forgot I live in D.C now, I was like, "Where's the Denver, Colorado show?" haha My old town, now I just gotta get some tickets! Seeing her live again. I'm excited.
i am going to the mountain view show VIP diamond package i still can't believe i am actually gonna meet her. i would like to go to san diego or irvine as well or both but prob just get regular tickets for those dates it all just depends on my budget
