That's weird, cause I can see your profile. One of our admins did something new to the site a few days ago, that may have something to do with and has caused something to malfunction on the site.

I see your pic and everything so we know it's still there, I'm gonna give it a few days to see if it shows up for you, AlleneZ, and if it doesn't or if anyone else has the same problems, I'll report it one of the admins.

Why do you think Christina needs to make a statement? She doesn't need help either. I go out and get a little tipsy myself - it isn't a crime.

That account on twitter does answers as if he/she were the REAL Xtina I've asked her/him several times to say she's not Xtina but of course won't do it. I just tell ppl who recently tweeted her that the account is fake and that Xtina doesn't have twitter.

On a side note. Best Buy was supposed to sell a Blu-ray/DVD combo along with a corset. But will not sell it with the corset. If they don't want to sell it, is there a chance we can buy it from Xtina's official site? Like an exclusive edition from Xtina.

@Ghislaine: What you can do is highlight everything you are about to post, right-click and click copy. If it asks for the captcha thing, you can just paste what you wrote before.

yeah, that was a different incidence.

A while back, there were question and answer things Christina would do online. I don't know if any of you remember. And anytime this would happen, those fakes would come out on all of her forums, forums like EFG, the yahoo boards, the vh1 boards were notorious. Christina's mom would get messages from these kids saying they had just talked to Christina.

At the time, Shelly had an email address called 'askshelly'. She was a busy woman online, all day she would spend trying to 'out' these people. Some of that stuff became very damaging to Christina, because these fans would spread the lies and it got so bad, people would say Christina actually said it, when it was one of these fakes. Some of these kids were sending money and gifts to these people and all we could think about was 'what if one of these fakes is a guy that lures fans to them and do some harm.' So it became like a job getting rid of the fakers.

While people are thinking it's harmless fun, it can become something much more then what it appears.

yeah, I remember that, Shelly sent me an email telling me all that was fake, somehow it got back to them. I think the Rachael one fooled a lot of people and Shelly was like, 'Since we found out about it, Rachael is just tore up, please let the fans know that Rachael is not online.'

One of the first things Christina herself, along with her mom, told me was that their biggest problem was fake Christina's and pretend family members online. A lot of fans have been taken advantage of, some of them were very young. Kids that actually got suicidal when the fake people showed their true colors. So Christina made a vow that she would not come online unless we, meaning her people, were notified first, plus she added that she would go thru her people's channels that already exist online, to do so.

She used to be pretty online friendly, but one of the reasons she got away from it was all of the mess that was coming to light, one of which was these con artists. There were other reasons, but she is so not computer savvy nowadays.

I have been trying to get them to stop that person and twitter is putting them thru hoops. They need to get Christina to personally tell them that she does not have a twitter so they can nix all these fakers.

just shows the research team of respectable news orgs lack serious researching skills... they are the ones who are at fault not the choice of xtina to not have a twitter acct...

That's another thing I miss, the 'quote' button, drives me nuts! I wish we did have the codes. Sucks!

I've been having that problem too. It's very frustrating, it would help if you could copy a message without it deleting even. Or better yet, get rid of it alltogether because from what I've seen it does nothing to stop spam and does more to hurt people who are posting legit posts. No place that I've seen these codes in place are spam-free.

why was pms taken out? this system doesn't support it, unfortunately this system is what rca uses nowadays.

it's a bandwidth thing, with this new system, everything is using the same bandwidth, compared to the old system where the forums were powered seperately from everything else on her site.

It has made this job of moderating a little harder, those pms were a great tool for us.

Words can never fully give justice to the impact she's had. She's truly one of a kind and someone who I have identified with on certain levels. From someone who at first didn't much care for her(though that had alot to do with my general view of music at that time than anything else) to being here on her official website now 9yrs later should tell you something
