Tune in to the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Lets see, how many Christina gets the nominations, whether with Bionic or Burlesque..

I think, people not ready to receive new kind of sound n music by Christina. .
Well I'm not watching unless Christina performs.

I don't wanna watch this show anymore
I thought that this is that kind of thing where the talent is looked at, but there are - I don't want to hurt anyone so I don't gave names - lot of people got nominations who had nothing to do with music. Even people who you can't find ONE single live performance what is not sound terrible. I'm disappointed too. It's much like heay gave this and that some nomination -> than we can do a big show -> lot's of people will see it -> MONEY
@iamseeds burlesque soundtrack will be eligible for nomination the following year cos it only just came out
the nominations are appalling this year like ffs come on the cast of glee got nominated for best vocal WTF

Soundtrack albums do get recognized. Maybe it'll gain some attention for next year's Grammy's.
I personally don't think Christina is at all bothered by this. I'm sure she would like to be recognized for her hard work, but at the end of the day, she's not letting the rejection get to her. I don't mean this disrespectfully, but she's used to the rejection. Christina was able to make the kind of album she wanted to make with Bionic and she was satisfied with its outcome, despite poor record sales and negative reviews. Her focus has already shifted to making a new album so let's hope for the best with her new project and not dwell on Bionic's short comings. As long as Christina is happy with Bionic and her fans are entertained by it, that's all that should matter.
xtina has been n the industry for 12 years, yeah maybe xtina really has a lot to be thnkful for. this will pass.
anyway, burlesque soundtrack is getting so much raves... does a soundtrac album get nominated in the grammy's?
They want ratings, not respect. Forget them.

This is absolutely revolting, my faith in in the Grammy's is so shaken, it is beyond the scope of any Richter scale. Forget this show.
the entire industry really deserted xtina in her bionic era. i really want her to win a grammy for bionic as its the highest award giving body for music. who cares if she's not that popular to the masses (mtv, ama), being that popular will cheapen her artistry, but come on the grammy's?
this is just a phase...
this dark age of xtina's career is waning now that burlesque is making waves... i'm not sure if burlesque has made it to the oscar's timetable...
the oscar's is our next hope...

Just read the full list of nominees on grammy.com and Christina didn't get a single nomination. So sad...

if she doesn't at least get best female pop vocal and best pop vocal album then the academy don't know what they are doing. the grammys have always been pretty good in recognizing christina so hopefully 2011 is no different

and i think 'lift me up' counts cos technically it was released when performed on hope for hiati even though never officially released as a single and charting
sorry i don't have a link guys someone posted that on another forum along with the submissions for all other artists a few months ago i will try find out where it came from. i am pretty sure its legit cos i remember in previous years this info was released publicly aswell
If You Lost Me or Bionic do not get a grammy, I will lose complete faith in the award's show, and will only watch it when Christina is performing.

her label/manager submitted it to the academy for consideration so i guess they wouldn't have done it if it wasn't eligible

like i am seeds said burlesque won't be counted till the 2012 awards cos of when the timetable cut off is but bionic as been submitted in 9 categories so hopefully she gets a few noms

the only ballad they awarded in xtina's career is beautiful... they snubbed "huRt" which every music critic is lobbying for as a strong grammy contender... it didnt even get nominated... so linda n xtina's 1st attempt to recreate the "beautiful formula" didn't work

burlesque wont be counted... the grammy timetable has lapsed when it was released...
if bionic doesnt get a EVEN sinle nom, we could surmise that the short lived bionic era is the dark age of xtina's music career.
