Nature is who brought us forth,
her offspring often lacks remorse:
“Eat - or be eaten...” - is the law;
brutal strength, impartial, raw!
Then, again, there are the Arts:
Irrelevant??-- They warm our hearts!
Paintings, Music, Literature;
spreading to us all, for sure,
what's important, what's immortal,
what may count beyond this portal...
So, ‘free’ we ain't, we could not be,
and the task that I do see
is to discern two things and choose:
What for to to live – what for to lose.
Irrespective of your vision:
Put your heart in this decision!
